Factors to Consider Before You Rent a Restroom Trailer

Whether you’re hosting an event or need a portable toilet for work, renting a restroom trailer is an excellent way to provide comfort and convenience for your guests. However, several factors must be considered before renting a restroom trailer.

The first step is to determine how many stalls you need. This will help you avoid long lines at your event. Click the Rent A Restroom Trailer to learn more.

The cost of renting a restroom trailer varies depending on the amenities and features you choose. For example, a luxury restroom trailer may cost more than a standard portable toilet, but it will provide a level of comfort and sophistication that guests appreciate.

In addition to the type of rental you select, other factors that affect the cost of a restroom trailer include the duration of the rental and whether it’s a flat rate or hourly. In general, longer rental periods are more cost-effective because they typically come with price breaks. It’s also important to consider the location and delivery fees, as these will add to your overall expense.

Many companies offer a range of restroom rental options, from single porta potties to multi-stall trailers. While single-unit portable toilets are cheaper and easier to install, multi-stall trailers are more convenient for guests. This makes them a good choice for weddings, large corporate events and VIP gatherings.

If you’re hosting a small event or need bathroom facilities for construction workers, restroom trailers can help make your job more efficient and comfortable for everyone involved. These trailers can be equipped with a number of luxurious features, including air conditioning, heating and even a sound system. Of course, the more amenities you opt for, the higher the rental cost will be.

In order for a bathroom trailer to function properly, it needs to be hooked up to a power source. It’s important to use a dedicated circuit for this purpose and not one that is shared with other appliances. In most cases, you’ll need a generator to power these trailers if you want them to stay running for a long period of time.

Most vendors offer both daily rates and flat rates, so it’s important to determine which option is best for your needs. The daily rate is ideal for short-term rentals, such as a weekend wedding or construction site, while the flat rate is better for longer-term projects with frequent use. Some vendors also offer discounts based on the length of the rental period and the number of units rented.

Amenities

When planning an outdoor event, it’s essential to have proper restroom facilities. This is not only to ensure the comfort of your guests, but also to prevent health issues and promote a healthy environment. Fortunately, you can rent portable toilets or restroom trailers to cater to your needs. These facilities come with a variety of amenities and are more comfortable than standard portable toilets.

The first thing you need to determine is how many restrooms are required at your venue. The number of stalls will depend on the size of your event and the amount of people attending. A good rule of thumb is one toilet stall per 25 attendees. This will ensure that everyone has access to the toilets without waiting in line. It’s also a good idea to have a sink trailer onsite for those who need to wash their hands.

If you need a handwashing station, look for one that features a mirror and paper towel dispensers. You can also add air fresheners and sanitizer stations to encourage hand washing among your guests. This will help you avoid long lines during peak hours and improve visitor flow.

Some luxury restroom trailers are ADA compliant, which is great for those with disabilities. These models feature wider doors and larger interiors to accommodate wheelchair users. They are also equipped with grab bars and handrails for safety. In addition, they’re well-lit and clean with automatic doors and a skylight.

Luxury restrooms are perfect for weddings and other special events. They are often designed with a beautiful, neutral color scheme and include a lot of amenities. Some even have a photo booth, which will make your big day extra memorable.

If you’re looking for a restroom rental that can serve your business or construction site, consider a contractor’s luxury restroom trailer. This model includes a five private bathroom stalls and four flushing urinals, complete with privacy dividers. It also comes with a vanity, sink, and climate control.

Luxury restrooms can be a great choice for a wedding, but you need to be prepared to pay for them. The cost of a rental will depend on how long you need it and the number of stalls. You will also need to provide a water source and electricity for the trailer.

Delivery

A restroom trailer is a great option for event planners that want to give guests a more comfortable and luxurious experience than a standard porta potty. These self-contained units are easy to transport and can be set up in a variety of locations. However, it’s important to consider how much space you’ll need to park and set up a restroom trailer. Make sure you have a level area that’s reasonably close to electrical and water hookups. Also, it’s a good idea to select an area that allows access for a pumper truck, which will need to be able to access the restroom trailer each day to empty the waste tanks.

Many restroom trailers feature eco-friendly waste management practices, which means they reduce the environmental impact of your event. They also use less water than standard portable toilets. This feature is especially important if your event takes place in a sensitive environment. Some companies even offer luxury add-ons to elevate your guests’ restroom experience, such as touchless soap dispensers and running water.

Restroom trailers are also easier to clean than traditional portable toilets. They have a larger interior and more amenities than regular portable toilets, including air conditioning, odor-free ventilation, and sinks. They are also more aesthetically pleasing than standard porta potties, and many weddings, corporate retreats, and upscale outdoor events opt for this type of restroom.

If you’re planning an event that requires a restroom trailer, make sure to have enough stalls available for everyone attending. A general guideline is one stall per 25 people. If you’re hosting a wedding or a large event, you may want to consider renting more than one restroom trailer, as well as a shower trailer if there will be any attendees who need one.

Luxury portable restrooms come with warm lighting and a sophisticated interior design that is designed to match the theme of your event or natural surroundings. They are perfect for rustic weddings and events that take place in a location where there is no bathroom available or where it would be difficult to set up a permanent bathroom.

Setup

A restroom trailer is an excellent option for construction sites, outdoor festivals, and charity events. They provide a higher level of comfort and luxury than standard portable toilets. However, they do require a certain amount of space to operate properly. The first thing you need to do is make sure the area where you plan on putting the trailer is flat. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a paved driveway, but it should be flat enough so that the restroom trailer can sit straight and won’t lean to one side or the other.

The next thing you need to do is hook up the restroom trailer to a water source. This will ensure that the toilets and sinks work properly. It will also keep the water tanks from running dry too quickly. Ideally, you should use a spigot that has a shut-off valve. This will prevent accidental draining of the toilet tank, which could result in a major mess.

After the water is connected, you can then connect the restroom trailer to electricity. It’s best to use dedicated 20-amp power circuits for each restroom trailer, and the power cords should be sized appropriately for the distance they will run. If you want to incorporate electrical heaters into your restroom trailer, then you’ll need even more power.

It’s important to have a good supply of toilet paper in your restroom trailer, and you should have at least four rolls for each stall. If you have a lot of people attending your event, you may need to replace the rolls more frequently than if there are fewer people.

You should also have a trash can nearby for emptying waste. This will help keep the area clean and free of debris. You should also set up a recycling station in your restroom trailer so that you can encourage your guests to recycle.

A restroom trailer should be deep cleaned after each use. This will minimize odors and prevent the build-up of unwanted bacteria. It’s also a great way to show your guests that you care about their restroom experience. If the weather is cold, you should salt the path to the bathroom trailers to prevent ice and slippery conditions that can put your guests at risk of falling.

How Sealcoating Gives Old Asphalt a Fresh Look

Sealcoating protects asphalt from degradation caused by rain, UV rays, oil and chemicals. It saves money over time by preventing the need for full pavement replacement.

Sealcoating

Refined coal tar is the most common substance used for sealcoating. However, this substance is carcinogenic and workers should wear appropriate safety gear. Visit Website to learn more.

Before a single drop of sealcoat is applied, the area to be coated must be thoroughly cleaned. This includes sweeping and blowing the pavement to remove any noticeable debris, including dirt, leaves, and any other foreign matter. The asphalt must also be free of any loose pebbles and chalk. It is also a good time to wash away oil stains and fertilizer, and to clean out any drain traps in the parking lot.

A professional pavement contractor will check the weather forecast to make sure that no rain is in the immediate forecast for at least 24 hours. This is because a sealcoat requires dry conditions in order to set. If it starts to rain, the sealer will be washed off and not bond with the asphalt.

It is important to note that Sealcoating can only be used on properly constructed asphalt. It will not repair cracks or fill potholes. It will, however, protect the existing asphalt from water and other elements that can damage or discolor it. If a parking lot has any severe cracking or other problems, they should be repaired prior to applying the sealcoat.

Once the repairs are completed, the parking lot should be swept and blown again to ensure that it is completely free of any debris. In addition, it is a good idea to notify customers and vendors that the parking lot will be inaccessible for several hours on the day of the sealcoat application. This will allow them to make alternative arrangements for loading and unloading inventory and facilitating deliveries.

A proper mix of sealcoat is made up of coal-tar byproducts or similar acrylics that are mixed with very fine silica, additives, and fillers. It is usually a black liquid that is poured over the pavement to create a thick layer of protection. It is then allowed to cure before vehicles can drive on it again. The curing process typically takes up to two days, but the hot summer sun helps speed things up. The finished surface will be smooth and dark, which can improve the overall appearance of a commercial parking lot as well as help extend its lifespan.

Mixing

A seal coat helps to make old pavement look like new, and it also fills in small cracks and holes. However, the coating will eventually wear down again. That’s why it’s important to keep it in good condition with regular sealcoating. In addition, it protects the asphalt from the elements. For example, it keeps oil and other chemicals from degrading the surface. It also prevents water from absorbing into the ground, which could cause the pavement to break down.

To do this, workers first mix the sealer with aggregate and sand to achieve the right consistency for application. This mixture is known as the mix design, and it’s essential to follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for dilution and sand levels.

Before applying the mix, it must be thoroughly agitated to ensure that all of the ingredients are well mixed. Afterwards, the mixture can be applied with a spray or self-propelled squeegee machine. It can even be applied by hand using a brush. Before applying the mix, it’s best to cover or remove any objects that might get covered in the material.

It’s important to pick the right day for sealcoating. You’ll need at least two days of dry weather to allow the sealer to dry properly. In addition, you should try to avoid rainy days because the moisture will damage the coat.

The proper mixing of the sealer is vital for a successful project. To avoid shocks, it is recommended that the additive be pre-mixed with a small amount of water before being added to the sealer. This will help reduce the occurrence of latex destabilization in the additive.

In addition, it is recommended that the sand be added to the mixture slowly. Adding the sand too fast can cause an uneven appearance in the final product. In general, the sand should be added at about 100 lb. per minute.

You’ll also need to protect curbs, driveway edges, retaining walls and garage doors from overspray during the application process. It’s best to have a five-gallon bucket of water and rags on hand to clean any overspray. You can also use a tote mixer to help you stir your materials faster and more efficiently.

Applying

Asphalt Sealcoating is a form of resurfacing that uses a special mixture to protect the surface of asphalt pavement and fill in minor cracks. The process also gives worn or faded asphalt a fresh new look. It is an economical alternative to paving or replacement, and it can be performed on asphalt roads, parking lots, driveways, walkways, patios, or other asphalt surfaces.

The first step in preparing for the application of asphalt sealcoat is to clean and prep the area to be sealed. Workers need to remove all vehicles and close off the area with barricades or cones. It is important that the area to be sealed be dry. It is also recommended that a 24 hour period pass after application, for curing purposes.

Next, the workers need to choose the best method for applying the asphalt sealcoat. The most popular method is to spray the sealer with a specialized rig. This is quicker and more efficient than applying by hand, but it can still be time-consuming. Workers should always use adequate personal protective equipment (PPE), as spraying asphalt can create hazardous fumes that can lead to serious health issues, including respiratory problems.

Another option is to apply the sealcoat by hand with a squeegee. This is a slower process, but it ensures a thorough application and provides a better bond with the asphalt surface. Workers typically need to work in small sections, and they must be very careful not to miss any areas. The squeegee method is also effective for rough or porous asphalt, as it packs the material into crevices and pores.

The squeegee application method is also effective for smaller asphalt surfaces, such as residential driveways. It is usually applied with a bucket and large squeegee tool, but it can be done using a ride-on squeegee rig as well. The squeegee method requires more labor and is not as efficient for larger areas, but it can provide a more precise finish. In both cases, the seal coat must be allowed to dry and cure for a few hours before vehicular traffic is permitted on the road or driveway.

Drying

The final step in the process of sealcoating is for the material to dry. This is a lengthy process that can be affected by several factors. The temperature of the material, humidity levels, and sunlight exposure all play a role in how long it takes for the sealcoat to fully dry. If the weather isn’t favorable, it’s best to postpone the work until a more suitable day.

During the drying process, workers need to make sure the material is not walked or driven on. This is to ensure the integrity of the coating and protect against damage and premature wear.

If the paved surface is subjected to foot or vehicle traffic before the sealcoat has a chance to fully dry, it can begin to break down and crack. Additionally, the surface may become muddy and slippery, resulting in injury to those using it.

The ideal temperature for sealcoat to dry is between 55 and 90 degrees Fahrenheit. This range is ideal because it allows the materials to set properly and dry thoroughly. In addition, cooler temperatures can cause the seal coat to set unevenly, resulting in a less effective finish.

Humidity is another factor that can affect how long it takes for the sealcoat to dry and cure. If the air is humid, it will take longer for the material to evaporate and leave behind a dry asphalt surface. High humidity can also increase the amount of time that it takes for workers to clean up and leave the work area, which could lead to more downtime during the project.

Direct sunlight is also necessary for the sealcoat to dry. If the paved surface is shaded, it will take much longer for the material to dry. Additionally, if the weather is cloudy throughout the entire day, it will slow down the overall drying process and potentially prevent the sealcoat from drying at all.

Finally, it’s important to avoid using any materials that claim to accelerate the drying process of the sealcoat. These products should only be used by professionals who have experience with them and understand how they affect the longevity of the finished product. Additionally, these substances may pose a health risk for workers who come into contact with them through skin or lung irritation.

Septic Tank Services

Septic tank services are a necessary part of keeping septic systems up to code and functioning properly. These services include septic tank pumping, inspections, and other maintenance.

To prevent leaks, keep plants and trees away from the septic tank and drain field. Also, don’t park vehicles or use heavy equipment over the septic system. Click Septic Tank Services Near Me to learn more.

A septic tank serves as a natural decomposing system for household waste. As sludge and scum accumulate inside the tank, they naturally break down over time with bacterial action. The liquid waste drains out through a pipe that connects to the home’s drainage system, leaving behind the nutrients in the soil for future growth and cleanup.

As a homeowner, you can prevent expensive and inconvenient problems by having your septic tank pumped regularly. Signs that your tank is close to full include:

  • Foul odors.
  • Gurgling sounds.
  • Sewage backing up into toilets or tubs.
  • Wet areas around the septic system.

If you notice these symptoms, contact a professional septic tank service to get the problem solved before it becomes an emergency.

Professional septic tank services will not only pump your septic tanks, but they can also perform additional work on your septic system. For example, they can clean your filter and add enzymes to speed up the decomposition process of sludge and scum. They can also inspect your sewer line for leaks and blockages, repair or replace them as needed, and install a new grease trap if necessary.

Another important service that septic tank companies offer is video inspections of your septic system. These inspections allow homeowners to see the condition of their septic tank and sewer line, which can help them decide if they need to have the tanks pumped or repaired. Additionally, video inspections can be used to detect potential problems such as leaks or broken baffles that can lead to clogs and backups.

Hiring a professional septic tank company will save you money in the long run. They have the necessary tools and equipment to do the job quickly and efficiently, and they will also have insurance that protects you from any unforeseen issues. Moreover, a professional septic tank company will have training programs to keep their technicians up-to-date on the latest septic systems technology.

Septic tanks are a necessary part of your residential or commercial plumbing system. But just like any other system, it requires routine maintenance to function properly. Regular pumping and inspections will extend the life of your septic system, and you’ll avoid costly repairs down the road.

Inspection

If you own a home with a septic tank, it is crucial to have it regularly inspected and pumped. A septic tank system that fails to perform properly can create serious health and environmental concerns. When you have a professional inspection done, the inspector can check for the condition of the tank and other parts of the waste management system.

The first thing the inspector will do is locate the septic tank and uncover it. This is easier if you have a map of the property with the tank and other components marked. It also helps to avoid driving or parking over the septic tank and drain field when doing yard work.

An old septic tank may have a thick concrete lid that is difficult to open. A special tool is needed to tease these types of lids open. The inspector will also look for cracks in the tanks and baffles. A cracked septic tank is a disaster waiting to happen, and a leaking one is just as bad.

A septic tank can only hold so much sludge before it overflows. The inspector will use a device known as a sludge judge to measure the amount of sludge in the tank. A high sludge level indicates that the tank is overdue for pumping.

Other components of the septic system are examined as well. The inspector checks the septic tank sanitary tee, inlet and outlet pipes, and baffle walls for signs of damage. He or she will check the septic tank grading and make sure that it is far enough away from the house, well, water sources and property lines.

A professional septic tank inspector will also assess the drain field to ensure that it is doing its job by absorbing and filtering wastewater. The inspector will look for ponding or backing up, which indicate that the drain field needs to be replaced. A good septic tank professional will help the homeowner understand how to maintain their system. He or she can recommend a schedule for regular service and help the homeowner establish an accurate timetable for when their septic tank will need to be pumped again.

Repair

A septic system’s failure to work properly can lead to a number of problems, including sewage backups and dangerous overflows. These issues are caused by many different factors, including clogs, tank and drain field damage, and line leaks. While there are many ways to address these problems, the best solution is to schedule routine service and pumping for your septic system. Regular maintenance will help ensure that your septic system works efficiently for the life of your home.

If you’ve noticed that your septic system is not functioning as it should, schedule an inspection to determine what the problem is. A septic tank inspector can check the level of sludge and scum within your septic tank and also inspect the baffles inside the tank to see if they need cleaning. The tank can also be pumped to remove excess waste that has built up over time, which will prevent septic system overflows and clogs.

Septic system pipes are sometimes damaged by digging, landscaping, or other construction projects. It is important to have your septic system inspected after any such project. If the pipes have been broken, they will need to be repaired or replaced. In many cases, these repairs can be done using a new, flexible pipe running inside the existing pipe. This is much faster and easier than ripping out old concrete and laying down new plumbing.

Your septic system also may need to be cleaned or repaired due to a change in your family’s water usage or because of a malfunctioning septic tank alarm or other warning signs. The type of soil your septic system sits on is crucial, as it impacts how well the wastewater is absorbed. Upgrading to an Integrated Wastewater Treatment System (I/A OWTS) can be more expensive upfront than a traditional septic system, but it can save you money over the long term and increase your property’s value.

Keep detailed records of your septic system service and maintenance, as these documents can be useful when you decide to sell your home. You should also disclose these records to any prospective buyers, as they can influence the price of your home. If you have a dispute with your septic system company, contacting the New York State Department of Health or the Better Business Bureau may be helpful for resolving the issue.

Installation

Septic tank installation is a necessary service for homeowners who are building a new home or replacing an existing one. The system treats wastewater in homes and small businesses that are not connected to the municipal sewer system. Wastewater flows into the septic tank from household plumbing, where solid materials are broken down through a combination of settling and natural bacterial digestion. After the septic tank treats the wastewater, it is dispersed into a drain field or leach field for further treatment and disposal.

Whether you need to install a new septic tank or replace your old one, a licensed professional can help you choose the best solution for your property and budget. They can also design and plan your septic system to ensure it meets state standards. When choosing a septic service provider, make sure to check their Better Business Bureau rating and references. You can also find guidance and recommendations from the U.S. Septic Authorities website to make an informed decision.

Before any septic tank installation work can begin, the site must be inspected for proper drainage and space. A large hole must be dug to accommodate the tank, and a suitable bedding material must be used to minimize settling. After excavation, the septic tank must be cleaned and inspected for cracks or damage. The tank must also be sealed and tested for water loss, as a loss of more than an inch within 24 hours is a sign that it needs to be resealed.

Once the septic tank is installed, it must be properly connected to the house and the drain field. A septic tank that is not connected correctly can overload the system, leading to wastewater backflow into the house. The tank should also be buried at least 6 inches below ground to protect it from freezing and groundwater contamination.

Regular maintenance is the best way to keep your septic tank and system in good working condition. It is also recommended to use water-efficient appliances to reduce the amount of wastewater flowing into the septic system. You should also avoid putting any non-biodegradable materials down your drains, as they may disrupt the bacterial balance in the tank and clog the system.

Natalie Wood

After her success in West Side Story, Natalie Wood moved into leading roles. She won an Academy Award nomination for her performance in Splendor in the Grass. She married Robert Wagner in 1957, but the marriage ended in divorce in 1962.

Natalie Wood

Fresh scrapes and bruises on her body suggested she may have been assaulted before her death. However, no charges were ever filed.

As a young child star, Natalie Wood tugged at the heartstrings of audiences with her small roles. She first received attention with her role in the 1946 drama Tomorrow Is Forever, opposite Claudette Colbert and Orson Welles. Her next big break came with the release of Miracle on 34th Street, in which she played a precocious girl who questions Santa’s existence. The film made her a household name.

She starred in several other films as a teenager, including Splendor in the Grass and Rebel Without a Cause. These films marked her transition from a child actress to a mature leading lady. They also earned her three Academy Award nominations and one Golden Globe Award win. The movie made her a cultural icon and influenced the acting careers of such stars as Faye Dunaway, Jane Fonda, Audrey Hepburn, and Mia Farrow.

In the early ’60s, she made several more major movies, such as West Side Story and The Searchers. She also played Maria in Jerome Robbins’s Broadway adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. These films captured the restlessness of young Americans in the 1950s, as reflected by youth gangs and juvenile delinquency.

In 1957, she married actor Robert Wagner, eight years her senior. Their marriage lasted until 1962, when they separated and then divorced. The couple reunited in 1969 and had a daughter named Natasha. Despite her turbulent personal life, she continued to act sporadically. She appeared in a few television films, including an acclaimed televised version of Tennessee Williams’ Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and the miniseries From Here to Eternity.

She made her last theatrical film, the science fiction film Brainstorm, with Christopher Walken. Wood later retired from acting and focused on her family. She died on November 29, 1981, at the age of 36.

She co-starred with Dean in The Searchers

Natalie Wood first won audiences’ hearts as a precocious little girl in the 1946 holiday classic Miracle on 34th Street. A starring role in the 1957 juvenile delinquent drama Rebel Without a Cause brought her much more attention and fame. She was nominated for an Academy Award for her performance, and also for the romantic melodramas Splendor in the Grass and Love with a Proper Stranger.

After receiving numerous acting nominations, she became one of the most popular actresses in Hollywood. She continued to star in films throughout the 1960s, including West Side Story and Gypsy. She also won the Golden Globe Award for her role in 1962’s Splendor in the Grass. In the late ’70s, she appeared in several made-for-television movies and miniseries, including Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and the 1979 remake of From Here to Eternity.

In 1969, Wood married British producer Richard Gregson. They had a daughter, Natasha. At the time, she was under contract with Warner Bros., so she occasionally had to make movies she didn’t want to, which sometimes upset her. She also felt pressured by her mother to remain married and stay in show business. One of the movies she did not like was The Searchers, a 1956 western in which she starred alongside James Dean and Sal Mineo. She did not feel the film adequately depicted her as a girl abducted and raised by Native Americans.

In 1977, she starred in the mystery comedy Peeper with Michael Caine. She later guest starred on the television series Switch and Hart to Hart, and in the sex comedy The Last Married Couple in America with George Segal and Valerie Harper. She was also in the 1976 comedy The Cracker Factory and the 1979 science fiction film Meteor with Sean Connery. In her final film, the 1983 movie Brainstorm with Christopher Walken, she received high ratings and critical acclaim.

She married Richard Gregson

Natalie Wood first won the hearts of audiences with her small role as an orphan in the 1946 drama Tomorrow Is Forever. Soon, she received a regular stream of film offers. She started out with mostly family films and was often cast as the daughter of stars such as Fred MacMurray, Margaret Sullivan, James Stewart, and Joan Blondell. She also appeared as the niece of John Wayne in a number of westerns. Despite her early success, she was criticized for being one-dimensional and a poor actress.

In the 1960s, she was able to overcome this criticism with her performances in West Side Story and Splendor in the Grass. These films showcased her talent as a dramatic actress and earned her three Oscar nominations. She was also nominated for a Golden Globe and a BAFTA Award.

Following her film career, Wood devoted herself to her family. In 1974, she married musician Robert Wagner and had a daughter with him called Courtney. Her relationship with Wagner grew more intimate over time, and she referred to him as “Daddy” during her lifetime.

Despite her popularity, Natalie struggled with depression and other personal problems throughout her life. She tried several times to commit suicide, and she spent a period of her life undergoing daily psychoanalysis. She also suffered from severe anxiety, which manifested in a deep-seated fear of being alone at night.

Her chaotic personal life was a reflection of her unstable mental health. She was prone to emotional outbursts, and she was sometimes verbally and physically abusive to her husband and children. She also abused alcohol and smoked heavily. Her health deteriorated, and she died in 1981 at the age of forty-one.

She married Robert Wagner

Natalie Wood became a Hollywood icon in the 1950s, thanks to films like Rebel Without a Cause and Splendor in the Grass. Her turbulent private life, however, often overshadowed her acting career. She married actor Robert Wagner when she was 18 and divorced him five years later. She later married Richard Gregson and had a daughter with him. She also had a relationship with actor Warren Beatty.

As a child actress, Wood had to follow strict California laws that required her to spend three hours a day in school while shooting. She attended classes on the studio lots and was considered a straight-A student. She did not have an easy childhood, though, and had a difficult time separating from her mother.

When she first met Wagner, a 20th Century Fox contract player eight years her senior, she was 18 and had a huge crush on him. She asked her agent to set up a date for them in 1956, and they married that year. Wagner had already been in several movies, including Prince Valiant and A Kiss Before Dying, but he was not a big star.

The marriage lasted until 1962, and Wood had other relationships in the meantime. She returned to film in 1969, but had a few flops before getting her best work in a teleplay of Tennessee Williams’ Cat on a Hot Tin Roof.

After that, she began to fade from the screen. Her last role was in the 1981 sci-fi thriller Brainstorm, which was shot on location off Southern California. The night of her death, she was on a boat with Wagner, co-star Christopher Walken, and the yacht’s skipper, Dennis Davern. Tempers reportedly flared over Wood’s apparent closeness to Walken, and the two argued. When Wagner could not find her in the cabin, he searched for her on board the Splendour and found her body in the water near the dinghy. The death was ruled accidental.

She died in 1981

The Hollywood legend Natalie Wood died mysteriously at the age of 43 on Thanksgiving weekend 1981. Her death is a mystery that has endured for decades. New evidence has led to renewed interest in the case, and her widower Robert Wagner, who is now 87, is a person of interest.

On November 30, 1981, Wood was on board her husband’s yacht, Splendor, with her co-star Christopher Walken and the boat’s captain, Dennis Davern. Neither Walken nor Wagner saw her disappear, and at the time it was assumed she had slipped off the side of the boat while untying her dinghy. The next morning her body was found floating in the water a mile away from the yacht, near a cove called Blue Cavern Point.

A few days later, the investigation was closed, and Wood was buried with her husband at a star-studded funeral. The Los Angeles County coroner ruled her death accidental, citing superficial bruises on her arms and knee and scratch marks on the boat’s dinghy as proof that she had fallen into the ocean.

While the circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear, many fans believe foul play was involved. Her daughter, Natasha Gregson Wagner, has just released a documentary about her mother’s life and death. The film features rare interviews with those closest to her, including her widower.

The documentary also explores the relationship between Wood and her mother, who was a gypsy. The two women were very close. As a young child, Wood was the focus of intense public scrutiny because of her role in RKO’s West Side Story, which made her a star at the age of 16. Her mother insisted she be kept under close control, but as a teenager, Wood rebelled against her strict image and took on riskier roles.
